Description
The Youth Centre, located 35 yards south of St. Mary's Church, is a former National School built in 1855. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with freestone dressings and features a 20th-century tiled roof. The building is designed in a Tudor Gothic style and is a single storey. It has four casement windows, which include both three-light and two-light configurations, with plain and stop-chamfered mullions and surrounds. There is a central, truncated lateral stack. To the left, there is a projecting gabled porch that has a bellcote above it, and the entrance features a plank door set within a moulded surround with a four-centred head.
