Description

St. Mary's Church School is a former school and schoolhouse built around 1858 by G.E. Street. The building is constructed from squared coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring a plain-tile roof and stone stacks. The main range has projecting wings. The front of the building includes the schoolhouse on the left, which has a two-storey gable next to an arched entrance, and to the right, there is a mullioned window beneath a flat-roofed dormer. The large school wing on the right features mullioned windows and a double span roof. The windows in the gable walls are adorned with relieving arches. The interior has not been inspected.
