Description

This is a small house located on the west side of Bell Lane in Wheatley, dating from the early to mid-18th century. The house is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble with squared quoins, and has a plain-tile roof with a brick gable stack. It follows a two-unit plan, with a two-window front. A door is positioned to the right of centre, and there are two-light casement windows with old leaded lights at both ground and first floor levels. The roof is half-hipped on the left, with a stack located on the right. The right gable wall reveals evidence of a previous, lower gable.
