Description
Oxford House is a building that originally served as two houses and is now a college. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of limestone rubble with squared quoins and a stuccoed front. The roof is made of old plain tiles and features brick stacks. The building has a four-unit range with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall.
The front has six windows and two entrances, each with six-panel doors situated between 16-pane sash windows, with similar but smaller sashes on the first floor. The early 19th-century stucco includes rusticated quoins, a moulded string course, and plain architraves around the windows and doors. The roof is hipped and has lateral stacks at the rear. The sides, rear, and large rear wing are built in rubble and feature 20th-century casements. The interior has not been inspected.
