Description

No. 46 High Street is a small house dating from 1776, as indicated by the datestone above the door. The building is constructed from colourwashed coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins, topped by an old plain-tile roof and featuring brick gable stacks. It has a two-unit plan and is one storey plus attics. The front has two windows, with a plank door situated between two 2-light casements, which were originally three lights, all featuring stone flat arches. The doorway has been reduced in width. There are also two 2-light gabled dormers. The interior has not been inspected.
