Description

The Crest is a house dating from 1780, as indicated by a datestone. It is constructed of limestone ashlar and features an old plain-tile roof with a brick gable stack. The building has a two-unit rear-outshut plan and stands two storeys plus attics high. The front has two windows and a stone eaves cove, with a central six-panel door that is sheltered by a moulded wood canopy. This door is flanked by three-light casements, and similar casements are found on the first floor, alongside a datestone and a fire insurance plaque. There are also two small roof dormers and a stack on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
