Description

St. Mary's Old School is a Catholic school built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared, coursed sandstone and features a hipped slate roof. The building is one storey high with a cellar located under the north-east end. The north-west wall consists of four bays, with windows that have plain stone surrounds, semi-circular heads, projecting keystones, and are fitted with sashed glazing bars. The north-east wall includes a plain stone door surround leading to the cellar, along with two windows above that have plain stone surrounds and top-opening casements with glazing bars. The south-west wall features a plain stone door surround, a hipped projection at the north end, and windows with plain reveals.
