Description
The Bennett monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 25 metres west of the west porch of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Tormarton. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and a moulded base, along with plain quarter balusters. There are paired inscription panels on the north and south sides, commemorating Nicholas Bennett, who died in 1849, along with other family members.
