Description

Chestnut Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble with freestone dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof featuring raised coped verges and ashlar gable stacks. The building has two storeys and two windows, all of which are sash windows. The first floor has a blocked central window, and there are plain stone architraves around the windows. The central door is from the 20th century and is set in a plain surround. The interior has not been inspected.
