Description

Glebe Farmhouse, now a house, was likely built in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar to the front elevation, with a rendered rear. The roof is tiled with gable stacks. The house is two storeys high with three windows, all sash windows. The central entrance features a panelled and glazed door within a moulded stone surround, topped with a flat stone hood supported by brackets. A rubble plinth is present, along with a band course above the ground floor windows. The building has a parapet and coping. A single-storey lean-to is attached to the right. The right return includes a single-storey outhouse with a door and a partially blocked window. The rear of the property features a 1½-storey wing and a 1½-storey rear extension that continues the slope of the main roof to the right. The interior was not inspected.
