Description

Louds is a farmhouse dating from the 17th or 18th century, located on Old Warleigh Lane in Tamerton Foliot, Plymouth. The building features local rubble walls and timber lintels, topped by a steep dry slate roof with an outshut at the rear and a brick end stack on the left. It has a single-depth plan with a later outshut. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a three-to-one window arrangement, with the three-window section being symmetrical and a central doorway. The windows are late 19th or 20th century two-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, and there is a glazed door beneath a gabled hood. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
