Description

A detached village house dating from the late 18th century. The front is finished with roughcast render, while the end walls have slate hanging. The roof is covered with concrete tiles and has a low-pitched gable featuring an oculus. Rendered stacks are present at the ends. The house is laid out with a single depth, creating two rooms on either side of a central entrance hall. It is two storeys high, plus an attic, and has a symmetrical three-window facade. The original ground-floor windows are tripartite, hornless sash windows with glazing bars. Horned sash windows, replicating the originals, are above, and there's a louvred opening above the central, pedimented and pilastered doorway. The original door has six panels: flush at the bottom and fielded above. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
