Description
The gate piers, walls, and railings located east of the Church of St Mary were built in 1870. They are constructed from limestone rubble that has been brought to course, with dressed stone piers and terminal piers featuring cruciform gabled caps. The piers are square in plan, and the wall curves to the left to run parallel to the south side of the church. The low coped walls serve as a plinth for simple railings topped with fleur-de-lys finials. The wall on the left is divided into panels. This structure is included for its group value.
