Description

Lyngrove Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely has a core dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed rubble, featuring timber lintels and a gabled stone slate roof with stone stacks at each end. The building has an L-shaped plan, consisting of a south-facing main block and a rear service range that includes a staircase tower at the angle. The farmhouse is two stories high with an attic and has a three-window south front. The windows are 16-pane sashes, and there are two gabled dormers with 2-light small pane casements. The doorway is offset to the left and features a flat hood supported by wooden posts, along with a 6-panel door and a rectangular fanlight above it. The interior is not accessible for viewing.
