Description
Cloatley End Farm is a farmhouse with an early 18th century core and a south addition dating to around 1800. The rear range and side walls of the 1800 block are built from coursed rubble, while the south front features squared and coursed dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The building has gabled stone slate roofs with end stone stacks.
The south front is two stories high and has three windows. The windows are 16-pane sashes set in deep reveals. There is a central doorway with a segmental-headed lead hood supported by latticework jambs, and it features a six-panel door with a semicircular spoked fanlight above. The rear of the farmhouse includes leaded casement windows and a lean-to brick addition with a Welsh slate roof.
