MINETY Minety Park

Country house. Early C19 with early C20 additions and alterations. Squared and coursed rubble with blocked ashlar dressings, rusticated stone quoins and hipped-stone slate roofs with tall ashlar stacks. Irregular L-shaped plan with central C19 block, C20 side wings advanced on south front and further projecting rear C20 wing. Three-storey, three-window C19 block and two-storey, one-window wings facing south. Windows to ground and first floor outer bays of C19 block are paired 12-pane sashes with the lower glazing bars removed; central single sash to first floor. Upper windows are C20 two-pane sashes. Two and three-light small pane casements to left wing, French window to right with 12-pane sash above. Central advanced stone porch to C19 block with pediment and two-leaf, six-panel outer door. First and second floor platbands to C19 block continued at first floor level around wings.

Interior. C19 staircase with circular newel and square balusters, the remainder of the 1920s including a panelled ground floor room in the left-hand wing.
