Description
Milford House is a small country house dating from the early 19th century. The front features slate hanging, while the rest of the building is finished in incised stucco. It has a dry slate hipped roof with modillions along the fascia and rendered end stacks. The house has a double-depth plan with a small service wing at the rear left. It is two storeys high and has a three-window range without a front doorway. Most windows are late 19th or 20th century sashes, many with glazing bars. The right-hand side has a central glazed lean-to porch and an original six-panel door. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest. There are also attached rubble walls along the road frontage at the rear.
