Description

This is an early 20th-century urinal located in Thorn Park, Mannamead, Plymouth, designed by McFarlane of Glasgow. It is made of cast iron and features a roof with verge cresting and a small dog gargoyle. The urinal has an ovoid plan and a single stall with an entrance that spirals in. The external panels display geometric patterns and are topped with a vertical-slatted ventilator. Inside, the stall includes a bull's eye building mark by Jennings.
