Description

Standerton House is a detached house built in the mid-19th century. It features a stucco exterior with a mid-floor band and a dry slate hipped roof that has projecting eaves, along with tall stuccoed stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and includes a single-storey hip-roofed wing at the rear right.

It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range on both the garden and road front. The original windows are mostly 12-pane hornless sashes on all elevations. The entrance front includes a central glazed conservatory on the left-hand return. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest. Standerton House is part of a notable group of villas in Mannamead that were developed after 1851.
