Description

ALEXANDRA ROAD 1. 5121 (North side) Fountain set in wall at Pier Copse ST 4071 1/30 II GV 2. Late Cl9 glazed tile fountain set in stone surround with gabled top. The fountain has a green glazed tile plinth with arched recess containing a tap above. The recess has a blue scallop shell and russet leaves with brown veins. Other foliage details to surround. Scrolled pediment above recess with blue and green glazed finial.

The Fountain, the Pier including the Tollhouse, Marine Parade, and Nos 19 and 20 The Beach form a group.
