Description
No. 3 Seaway Lane is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof, which is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right. There is a renewed brick chimney stack at the right gable. The cottage has one and a half storeys, with 2- and 3-light wooden casement windows that include horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor windows are topped with 18th-century segmental brick arches. An eyebrow dormer is located on the left side of the upper floor. To the left of the center, there is a plank door with a segmental brick arch above it, which dates from the 19th century. On the left side, there is an integral outshut with a thatched catslide roof. Additionally, there is an attached wood-store on the right gable, constructed of rubble-stone and topped with a Roman tile roof.
