Description

29 West Street is a detached cottage with a converted outbuilding at the west end. It was rebuilt in the 18th century and underwent renovations in the 20th century. The walls are made of rubble stone, and the roof is thatched, featuring a gable end at the east and a lower thatched roof over the converted outbuilding, which has a hip. The building has two storeys and four windows, which are wooden casements with two and three lights, complete with glazing bars, wooden cills, and lintels. There is a straight joint with the slightly lower outbuilding, which has a 20th-century two-light casement in a doorway that has been blocked.
