Description
No. 10 West Street is a detached house dating from the late 18th century. It features random rubble-stone walls and a slate roof, with a brick stack at each gable. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are three-light wooden casements with horizontal glazing-bars. The wooden cills and ground floor lintels are also notable. The entrance is a plank door located left of centre, which has one glass light and framing, dating from the 19th century. There is a pentice-roofed outshut on the west gable-end, with the rubble-stone front wall carried through. Additionally, there is one 20th-century two-light wooden casement facing the road.
