Description
Nos 35 and 35A on West Street are two attached cottages that form part of a row, dating from the 17th century, with an earlier core. They feature rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with a raised ridge and eaves. The cottages are one and a half storeys high and have four windows in total. No 35 has three-light wooden casements with lead lights and wooden lintels above, while No 35A has three-light wooden casements with glazing bars that have been renewed. Both cottages have wooden cills and lintels. The front door of No 35 is a plank door with a wooden lintel, located on the right-hand side and dating from the 19th century. No 35A also has a plank door with one glass light and a wooden lintel above, situated on the right-hand side and dating from the 20th century.
