Description

Nos 6, 7, and 8 on High Street are three attached cottages dating from the early 19th century. They feature rubble stone walls and a thatched roof with stone gable copings at each end. There are two brick stacks located at the ridge and the right-hand gable. The cottages are two storeys high and have approximately eight windows, which are two-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden cills, and lintels. The entrance to No 6 is at the rear and consists of a wooden door with one glass light, dating from the 20th century. No 7 has a 20th-century plank door on the right-hand side, while No 8 also features a plank door with one glass light, from the 20th century.
