Description

Three attached cottages on Market Street, built in the early to mid-19th century. They have rubble-stone walls and slate roofs with gable ends. Brick stacks are located on the ridge, to the left and right of the centre. The cottages are two storeys high, with a total of six windows. They feature 2-light cast-iron casement windows with glazing-bars, and three 3-light casement windows on the ground floor, all with wooden cills. The front doors are all 20th-century replacements: No. 13 is accessed via a passageway and has a fully glazed door; No. 15 and No. 17 both have upper half-glazed doors with segmental arches above, located on the left side of each cottage. The cottages were originally listed in 1956 as a pair of houses to the west of the Ilchester Arms Hotel.
