Description

Fleet Cottage is an attached cottage dating from the 18th century, with earlier 17th century mullion windows that have been re-set. The building features rubble-stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a thatched roof with gable ends. It has early 20th century brick stacks at the gable ends and is 1½ storeys tall. The cottage has two windows on the ground floor, both of which are three-light stone mullion windows, with the left-hand window featuring a stone label. The wooden casements are complemented by two-light wooden casements as eyebrow dormers above. The front doorway is centrally located, framed by stone jambs and a depressed-arch stone head, and it has a plank door with weatherboarding from the 19th century.
