Description
The Insurance Services and Chenery Tobacconists is a house that has been converted into a shop and offices, dating from around 1800. It is two storeys high and has a rendered exterior with a gable-ended slate roof and no visible chimneys. The building features a five-window range, with sash windows that include glazing bars. On the upper floor to the right, there are two blind windows flanking a large casement window. The entrance, located left of centre, consists of a round-headed doorway with a moulded architrave, a fanlight with radiating bars, and a panelled and glazed door. To the right of the entrance is a pilastered shop front topped with an entablature, although the glazing bars are missing. The centre and left of the façade are adorned with giant plain pilasters.
