Description

The Old Hind is a house located on High Street in Stalbridge, dating from around 1800, though it may have an earlier core. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a tiled roof and a stone end stack, featuring some brick dressings. It is three storeys high and has three bays. On the right side, there is a two-storey canted bay, likely added in the late 19th century, which includes sash windows. To the left, there is a three-light 19th-century sash window without glazing bars. The remaining windows are single sashes without glazing bars, set in moulded frames, with wooden lintels. The front door is positioned slightly to the right of centre.
