Description
The Old House and Creed House are two houses, likely from the 17th century, with Creed House dated 1785 on a flagstone in the internal floor. The walls are rendered, and both houses have slate roofs with gable ends and brick stacks. They are arranged in an 'L' shape, with Creed House facing the street. Creed House is two storeys high and has a four-window range, featuring 20th-century wooden casements with glazing bars throughout. There is a 20th-century door located just to the right of the stack. Internally, it appears to have originally been designed as a five-room cross-passage plan, with the cross passage backing onto the stack and a heavy moulded bressummer that may have been reset. The Old House is also two storeys high and has a four-window range, with sash windows that include glazing bars.
