Description
Dumbledore is an inn and brewhouse that has been converted into a dwelling. It likely dates from the late 17th century, with an 18th-century facade. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof with gable ends and ridge courses of tile. It is two stories tall and has three bays.
On the ground floor, there are two added canted bay windows with glazing bars. The upper floor contains three sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded frames, all with wooden lintels. The central door is flanked by simple pilaster surrounds. The building has gable and central stacks made of stone and brick.
To the right, there is a later extension built of squared coursed rubble, which includes a ground floor three-light casement window and a blocked window above. At the rear, there is a brewhouse range featuring a stone slated collar-braced roof.
