Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on Gold Street in Stalbridge. It features coursed rubble walls and a roof with gable ends, along with end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, with one arm facing the road. It is two storeys high with an attic and includes a 20th-century porch at the angle between its two wings. The cottage has 2-light casement windows throughout and a single dormer window. Attached to it is a parallel building of similar construction, which seems to have been a workshop.
