Description

Turnpike is an 18th-century house located on Gold Street's south side. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a slate roof with an end brick stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The first and second floors have two-light 20th-century casements with glazing bars. The dormers also contain casements, which have horizontal glazing bars. The front door is from the 20th century, and there is an additional door that leads to a passage at the rear.
