Description

Stanton Cottage and Hobbs Cottage are two cottages built around 1800. They feature stucco walls and a slate roof with gabled ends, while the lower courses are made of stone slates. There are brick stacks at each gable end and between the two cottages. The facade is simple and classical in style, with two storeys and six bays, along with single-storey lean-tos at each end. The first and sixth bays have canted bay windows. The windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. The doors appear to be original, complete with fanlights and moulded architraves.
