Description

No 5 on South Street is a mid-19th century building featuring modern weatherboarding and a pitched slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and has a well-preserved 19th-century shopfront with turned mullions and decorative ornament resembling anthemia. The building includes two doors, one with a glazed shop door and the other with six diamond-facetted panels. On the first floor, there are two sash windows set in moulded frames. No 5 is part of a group that includes Nos 1, 3, and 5.
