Description

1-3 George's Court is a mid-19th century building, likely constructed after 1844. It has two storeys and features one window bay and one door for each unit. The building has a hipped slate roof and a pebbledash front. The sash windows are set in reveals with intact glazing bars, and the lower windows have cambered head linings. The doors are in ledged reveals, with six-panelled designs; No 1 has the top four panels glazed, while No 2 has the top two panels glazed. This building is likely built on the site of the former George Inn. Nos 1 to 8 George's Court form a group.
