Description

No. 86 Chiswell is a house in a row, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It has a rendered exterior and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and features two windows, each with 12-pane sash windows set beneath stone lintels and with stooled stone cills. A central lead tent-hood porch with 20th-century lattice cheeks covers a 19th-century six-panel part-glazed door. The house has raised verges with small kneelers and deep brick gable stacks. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to have some panelled shutters on the ground floor windows.
