Description
Nos 19, 20, and 21 Bladen Valley are a symmetrical terrace of three cottages built around 1920. The cottages have concrete block walls and thatched roofs, with brick stacks. Each end of the terrace features slightly projecting gabled wings. Beyond these wings are extensions that include recessed loggias supported by brick piers. The cottages are one storey with attics.
No. 19 includes the northern loggia section and its projecting wing, featuring a flush panelled door in the loggia. The ground floor has two casement windows with glazing bars, and the attic gable contains one similar window.
No. 21, at the southern end, mirrors No. 19 but has lean-to extensions on the south side, which have rendered walls and a tiled roof.
No. 20, the central cottage, also has a flush panelled door. Its ground floor features two casement windows with glazing bars, while the attic has three half-dormers with similar casements.
