Description

No. 1 Bladen Valley is a detached house built around 1920. It features concrete block walls, a thatched roof, and brick chimney stacks. The house is two storeys tall with an attic. The main entrance is located in the end gable wall and consists of a ledged door set within a semi-circular open timber porch that has a thatched roof. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with iron sashes and lead lights, while the first floor has two similar windows. The attic also includes one similar window. There are thatched lean-tos on each side wall, which are set back from the main gable end elevation, and these walls also have similar windows.
