Description

57 and 59 East Street are two former houses built between 1731 and 1750. They are two stories tall with attics and feature typical brickwork. The building has gabled dormers. Number 57 has a splayed late Georgian bay window on the first floor and an altered shop front below. Number 59 has two windows, a chromium-plated shop front, and sash windows with altered glazing bars. There is a narrow passageway between the two properties. Numbers 45 to 59 (odd) form a group.
