Description

No. 9 Monmouth Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall with three window bays. It features a slate roof and a roughcast front. The sash windows are four panes wide. On the ground floor, to the left of the center doorway, there is a 19th-century bow window that is five panes wide and three panes deep. The door is a modern half-glazed type, and there is a small window at the right-hand end. Additionally, there is one window bay in the east return to Church Street. Nos. 7 to 9 Monmouth Street are part of a group that is visually closed to the east by the Church of St Michael and the churchyard walls.
