Description

Home Cottage is a late 18th century to early to mid 19th century building located on Church Street. It is two storeys high and features a slate roof with a moulded eaves cornice. The front is plastered and has sash windows with glazing bars. On the right side, there is an early 19th century bow window that is six panes wide and three panes deep. To the left, there is a doorway framed by an architrave and topped with a triangular pediment supported by small brackets. The door is six-panelled and set within reveals. Home Cottage is part of a group that includes the Tudor House Hotel and Nos 6 to 12 on Church Street, with the north front of the Guildhall marking the southern end of this group.
