Description

No. 9 Church Street is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early to mid 19th century. It is two storeys high and features two window bays. The roof is slate, and the front is plastered. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, and there is an early 19th-century bow window on the right side. The doorway is highlighted by a moulded architrave that forms a pediment above it, and there is a six-panelled door. At the right end, there is a stuccoed pediment.

No. 1, Tudor House Hotel, and Nos. 6 to 12 Church Street form a group, with the north front of the Guildhall acting as a stop at the south end of this group.
