Description

No. 8 Monmouth Street is a 19th-century building featuring three stories and two window bays. It has a slate gabled roof and a colourwashed rendered front. The windows are sash style without glazing bars and have lugs. There is a single-light window at the right end of the building. On the ground floor, there is a bow-fronted shop window to the left and a doorway to the right, which has a half-glazed door with two flush panels. To the right of the doorway, there is a small window with a cellar window located below it. Nos. 7 to 9 Monmouth Street form a group that is visually closed to the east by the Church of St Michael and the walls of the churchyard.
