Description

No 93 Cheap Street is a 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with three window bays. It features a slate roof and bracket eaves, with an ashlar front and a string course on the second floor. The second floor has sash windows with ashlar architraves and no glazing bars. On the first floor, the central window has a shouldered architrave, while the narrower windows at each end are flanked by panelled pilasters and have paterae at the corners. There is a modern shop front set within a casing dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century. A four-panelled house door with a fanlight is located at the right-hand end. Nos 89 to 93 Cheap Street form a group with the adjoining premises occupied by Johnsons in South Street.
