Description

No. 59 High Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of ashlar stone. It stands three storeys tall and features a cornice and blocking course. The façade includes four ranges of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first and second floors, with the west bay being slightly recessed. At the west end of the ground floor, there is a trabeated carriage entrance, while the rest of the ground floor has a modern shopfront. Nos. 57 to 62A, which are adjacent, form a group with this building.
