Description
No. 10 Market Place is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and features two windows on the second floor, which are sashes with late 19th-century glazing. The first floor includes one barred sash window and a canted bay window that lacks glazing bars but has a slate roof. The ground floor has a 19th-century shop front with a side door and an additional door at each end, all beneath a cornice. The eastern door is six-panelled and includes a fanlight and pilasters, with the pilaster terminating the shop front on the western side. A flat hood on brackets is positioned above the entrance. Nos. 10 to 19 Market Place form a group.
