Description

Number 16 on Market Place is a late 18th-century building. Its facade is rendered white and features stucco bands and a moulded eaves cornice. The building has three storeys and includes sash windows with glazing bars and moulded boxed frames. One fluted pilaster from the original shop front is still visible, along with part of another. There is a frieze above the shop front, and a modern side door that is recessed. A glazed square fanlight with tracery is also present. Numbers 10 to 19 on Market Place form a group.
