Description

Number 12 on Market Place is a building from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone and stands three storeys high. The façade features one three-light sash window that is adorned with moulded pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, along with another sash window that has a plain surround. There is a stone-coped half-gable on the returned side, plain eaves, and a slate roof. The building also has 19th-century shop fronts that include moulded cornices. Numbers 4 to 13, as well as number 15, form a group with this building.
