Description
No. 6 Market Place is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco and features two storeys with an attic. The front has one sash window set within a moulded architrave, and the gable is plain with stone coping. At the centre, there is a plain wood doorcase flanked by a 19th-century shop bay window on each side, all topped with a cornice and cast iron brattishing. The eaves are plain, and the roof is tiled. The returned side of the building includes two sash windows in moulded architraves and a moulded wood doorcase. This building is part of a group that includes Nos. 4 to 13 and No. 15.
